Girl Guides of Canada come to Big Valley

A sea of coloured hats adorned 413 Girl Guides and leaders who took an ‘out-trip’ on the Alberta Prairie steam train to Big Valley on Sun., July 10. The trip was one part of the guides Guiding Mosaic 2016 Canadian international camp experience taking place in Sylvan Lake from July 9 to 17. Ranging in ages from 12 to 18, the guides hailed from: St. John’s, NL, Halifax, NS, Toronto, Cambridge, Barrie, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Kitchener/Waterloo and Burlington, ON, Saskatoon, SK, Calgary, Edmonton, Bonnyville, St. Paul, Kitscoty, Lethbridge, Edson, Leduc and Ardrossan, AB, and Fort St. John, Dawson Creek, Langley and Delta, BC.
