A moose and her calf spent a couple of days hanging around close to a farmstead while a bull moose lingered not far off. According to Brendan Cox, spokesperson for Alberta Fish and Wildlife, moose will wander closer to civilization during the rutting season. In their effort to find mates, bulls will even saunter through urban areas, according to Cox. Rutting bulls and protective cows are dangerous and best left alone.                                 ECA Review/D.Johnston
