Community painting

Lil Glasiar, Rocky, Ab., adds her touch to one of the squares for the community painting.

Every person in attendance at the Royal Harvest Festival was encouraged to paint their own square grid.

The  finished painting will be a collection of all the squares each person painted over the weekend.

Audrey Glasier was inspired by the idea during a Vitalize Conference in Edmonton and decided to make it a part of the festival.

The completed piece will represent diversity, helping hands, children and animals, “all the things we love”, said Glasier.  ECA Review/D.Clark
