Rummage sale a roaring success

The bi-annual Hanna Rummage Sale by the Hanna Ladies Auxiliary was another roaring success as people filled both the curling rink and skating rink on Sat. Sept. 30. An average of $17,000 net in many of the previous sales provides the Hanna Hospital and Long-Term Care with equipment, decor including new blinds, blankets and much more. The Rummage Sale started likely 50 years ago, noted one member, with two tables in the Legion Hall and has grown expeditiously since then. It attracts people from all over east central Alberta.
