RCMP investigate death update

The RCMP have determined through investigation and consultation with RCMP Major Crimes and the Chief Medical Examiner that the death of a 31 year-old Stettler male was not found to be criminal.
On Dec. 10, 2016 the RCMP responded to a complaint of a burnt vehicle in rural Stettler and located a deceased male in the vehicle.  A thorough investigation was launched with the assistance of RCMP Major Crimes.
This investigation remains ongoing, however the Stettler RCMP wish to confirm that the public need not be concerned about any criminality in relation to this very unfortunate event.
The name of the deceased will not be provided by the RCMP.  No further information will be updated on this investigation.

Break and enter

Stettler RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter on Jan. 10 at the Canadian Tire in the early morning hours.
The RCMP were unable to locate the suspects, however, the suspects and the suspect vehicle have been captured by local video surveillance footage.
Stettler RCMP are looking for public assistance in identifying these suspects and/or the very distinguishable suspect vehicle; a white van with several areas showing peeled paint.
