Mischief and theft investigation

Coronation RCMP received two separate complaints concerning property related crimes to motor vehicles in the town of Coronation.
One incident occurred sometime overnight on Sat., March 24, and the other on Wed. March 28, 2018.
On March 24, unknown suspect(s) vandalized an SUV parked on George Street by the Coronation School. A few days later, on March 28, an SUV parked in the driveway of a York Avenue residence was rummaged through and items were stolen.
Coronation RCMP would like to remind vehicle owners to ensure they do not leave valuables in their vehicles and to lock their vehicles at all times when left unattended.

Snowmobile theft
Coronation RCMP are investigating a theft of a snowmobile from a residence on Windsor Avenue in the town of Coronation. Sometime between 9 p.m. on Mon., April 2, 2018 and 11 a.m. on Tues., April 3, suspect(s) entered the property and stole the parked snowmobile.
The snowmobile is described as a red 2015 Polaris 800 Pro RMK with a 795 cc engine.

Stettler RCMP received a call on March 22 from a local bank advising a male was attempting to cash stolen/forged cheques.
RCMP attended and arrested Terry Kennedy (52) of Stettler County for forgery, use a forged document and possession of stolen property.
Kennedy is to attend court in Stettler on May 10th, 2018.
