The Coronation Junior High awards for the 2016-17 year were handed out on Fri., Sept. 8 at the Coronation School.
Over 80 Club, grade 7 achievers were: Philip Akindipe, Zac Bossert, Evan Golby, Keirsen Kobi, Gage Selzler, Keaton Shipton, Kasi Sivaji, and Grady Wilson.
Over 80 Club, grade 8: Kylie Walsh, Brawly Scribner, Summer Saunders, Bella Holmes, Damien Griffiths, Zachary Grice and Hayden Regnier.
Over 80 Club, grade 9: Payton Elliott, Samantha Kuziw, Jaron Scribner and Tyra Smith.
Over 90 Club, grade 7: Brook-Lyn Sherbo, Bradley Goodbrand and Carla Burge.
Over 90 Club, grade 8: Marla Pasolli and Lauryn Perry.
Over 90 Club, grade 9: Felicity Mears and Tristen Shaw.
Bradley Goodbrand achieved all of the subject awards including language arts, math, science and social studies.
Lauryn Perry achieved grade 8 subject awards for language arts and tied with Marla Pasolli for math and science. Kylie Walsh achieved the social studies award in grade 8.
Felicity Mears achieved the grade 9 award for language arts and tied with Samantha Kuziw and Tristen Shaw in science and social studies. Tristen Shaw achieved the award for math.
Most Improved awards went to: grade 7 – Philip Akindipe; grade 8 – Summer Saunders; and grade 9 – Haley Holtz.
Best Effort awards: grade 7, Evan Golby, grade 8 – Bella Holmes, and grade 9 – Tyra Smith.
Citizenship awards: grade 7 – Keaton Shipton, grade 8 – Zachary Grice and Chase Tkach, and grade 9 – Payton Elliott.
