The Coronation 4-H Beef Club has been an organization for 57 years and this year there are 14 members.
We had weigh-in at the start of November. This year we have included a carcass calf project and a few members have chosen this as their main project or an addition to their market steer project.
We will be busy this winter and spring getting our calves ready for achievement day.
In December, we had a Christmas party with good food and games and also a club meeting. Each member brought a toy or gift item to donate to the Christmas Hampers.
Our next event is the public speaking project day which is on Fri., Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. at the Coronation School.
