Beister, Jutta Brigitte (Bridgit)

Jutta Brigitte (Bridgit) Beister, daughter of Willi and Hildegard Beister, was born on August 21, 1939 in Berlin, Germany. She has one brother, Peter Beister, with whom she shares the very same birthdate five years later.

Bridgit was blessed with two wonderful children, Manon and Andreas. Both children were born in Berlin.

Bridgit loved to travel; her connections were family in Germany and good friends in both Australia and Switzerland. Bridgit first spent time working in London, England before making the journey to Sidney, Australia and later on Vancouver, British Columbia and shortly after Calgary and Red Deer, Alberta as a jewelry representative and eventually on to Federal, Alberta where she made her home until her sudden passing on February 27, 2014.

Bridgit loved to cook and she had a knack for decorating. Her home was just like a gift shop: which she turned into just that! She called it “Unique Boutique,” and it was full of wonderful smells, sounds and colors.

Bridgit loved her animals and really knew how to make her plants sparkle up any corner of her home.

Bridgit thrived on being a grandmother and great grandmother and held a nurturing, special aura about her like no other.

She cared deeply for her family and friends and was known for her special brand of kindness and generosity. Bridgit will be dearly missed by many friends and generations of family.
